YNAB (You Need a Budget)

They offer a free 34-day trial period, then the cloud-based software costs $5 per month, which should be doable for nearly anyone who’s actively budgeting and not in an immediate crisis. Home page: http://www.youneedabudget.com/.
The company offers YNAB free for college students, and relies on word of mouth for awareness. If you plug it into the personal finances classes as part of the Budgeting lesson, and explain how YNAB’s 4 rules fit with Dave Ramsey’s 7 Baby Steps, it should be an almost-perfect fit for the Financial Peace University program. The combination of attractive, effective software, free online classes and videos, long trial period and low monthly cost makes this an attractive option to help people begin their first budgets.
