About Me, John Nash

I am a man, a husband, a father, an American, a Purdue Electrical Engineer, computer programmer, non-profit CEO, and a trainer specializing in ethnically diverse non-traditional students. I am qualified to teach Financial Peace University and coach because my financial past was harsh and I learned about money from my mistakes. While neither rich nor poor, I have greatly improved my financial situation from principals that my wife and I learned in the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University program.

I started by developing highly elegant aerospace test solutions in hardware and progressed to embedded software development to optimally fit the hardware, during which time I also earned a Masters in Business Administration.

I left Bendix (Allied Signal) to apply my Masters Degree in providing efficient and realistic technical IT solutions for small businesses and eventually helped develop and taught Information Systems Management at Bethel College, then went to Purdue to teach Electrical Engineering Technology (EET).

I left Purdue to help Agristats, Inc. modernize their eCommerce process from using modem and multi-line bulletin board technology with manual processing into automated processing via Internet and email. I then left Agristats, Inc. to form several small companies to provide custom computer / web programming and a public charity which provides free computer job skills training in cooperation with (and supporting) other local 501(c)(3) Public Charities.

The central theme in my development has been personal growth to better enable me to serve my family, community, city, state, nation, and ultimately humankind globally. The hallmark of my work is problem solving with extreme integration efficiency and elegance: designing hardware and software to match optimally at Bendix, developing sensible and affordable technical solutions for business and non-profits, and training those most underserved in my community with practical job skills to that they get and stay employed.

Specialties: Solving hard organizational and technical problems; Teaching courses considered "too hard" that most professors avoid. Training non-traditional students.
