Many citizens depend upon help to minimize their heating and cooling costs by weatherizing their homes. This might prove important information for citizens to know and upon which to express their opinion.<\/p>\n

Notice of Public Hearing \u2013 Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan 2018<\/b><\/h3>\n

Federal regulations related to the Department of Energy (DOE) funding requests require States, such as Indiana, that are applying for Weatherization Assistance Program funding, to prepare a State Plan as part of the application process. Another part of this process is providing the public an opportunity to review and comment on the contents of the State Plan.<\/p>\n

IHCDA is holding a public hearing on Tuesday February 6, 2018 to receive comment and testimony regarding the State of Indiana\u2019s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) State Plan. The hearing will begin at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time at 30 South Meridian Street, Suite 1000, Indianapolis, IN 46204.<\/p>\n

Members of the public are welcome to review the State Plan at IHCDA\u2019s offices during the business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm January 26th \u2013 February 5th.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the State Plan will be available on January 26th, located on the Public Notices page<\/b> on IHCDA\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
