Indiana State Police Partners with the DEA for the 16th Drug Take Back Day<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Indiana <\/strong>– On Saturday, October 27th, 2018 the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is sponsoring the 16th<\/sup> nationwide \u201cPrescription Drug Take Back\u201d initiative. \u00a0The \u201cTake Back\u201d initiative seeks to prevent prescription drug abuse and theft through proper disposal of prescription drugs.<\/p>\n

Collection sites will be set up nationwide for expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs which will be properly disposed of without threat to the environment. \u00a0This program is for liquid and pill medications.\u00a0 Needles, new or used, will not be accepted for disposal.\u00a0 This service is free and anonymous with no questions asked.<\/p>\n
