You can apply on-line at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/acp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/acp<\/a>. There are also local people who can take your information and hand you a free tablet or phone on the spot. The legitimate people NEVER ask you for money but scammers will. For more information please contact Brenda Majors at <a href=\"mailto:bmajors@fwha.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her email<\/a> or <a href=\"tel:2602679300 x7504\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">phone<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>What it is<\/h2>\n<p>The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.
