Our public charity has invested in a Ramsey+ site license for our community members.<\/p>\n<p>For the past 25 years, Financial Peace University (FPU) has taught common sense ways of handling money that anyone can follow. Millions of people have taken the class and seen the life-changing benefits that come from learning the truth about money. Now, Ramsey+ is taking the same principles from FPU and helping people create lasting money habits.<\/p>\n<h2>So, what exactly is Ramsey+, and how is it different from FPU?<\/h2>\n<p>Financial Peace University provides commonsense financial education and empowerment that giveHOPE to everyone in every walk of life.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 640px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-8163-1\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" poster=\"https:\/\/alt-fw.org\/public\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/ad-010.png\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/alt-fw.org\/public\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/ramseyplus-customer-testimonial.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/alt-fw.org\/public\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/ramseyplus-customer-testimonial.mp4\">https:\/\/alt-fw.org\/public\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/ramseyplus-customer-testimonial.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FPU is taught in a nine-lesson class. Members come together as a group to watch video lessons and talk through discussion questions. After the class is over, graduates are responsible for continuing their financial journey on their own. Ramsey+, on the other hand, walks with people throughout their entire financial journey. Ramsey+ still includes FPU, but the team over at Ramsey Solutions is constantly adding more resources to help people continue to win with money. They\u2019ve rolled all of their content, tools and resources into one all-access membership that helps people lead a life of financial peace.<\/p>\n<p>With additional courses like <strong>Jump Start<\/strong>, <strong>Smart Money Smart Kids<\/strong>, <strong>Legacy Journey<\/strong> and <strong>Budgeting That Actually Works<\/strong>, <em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">people in every walk<\/span> of life now have access to financial education customized for exactly where they are on their money journey<\/strong><\/em>. Using the <strong>EveryDollar<\/strong> app, people can create budgeting habits that help them take control of their money every month. And with the new <strong>BabySteps<\/strong> app, they can track their progress and see how quickly they can reach their goals.<\/p>\n<h2>All of these great tools are included with Ramsey+.<\/h2>\n<p>Our community FPU classes start next week, one Virtual using Zoom, and one in-person in the Community Room at Adult Life Training, Inc., 3301 E Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805! We host classes for families to learn together, have accountability, and create lasting change with new money habits. The even better news is, every family can have access to their own Ramsey+ account right away. That way, no matter if they take FPU or not, everyone gets access to the plan and tools to succeed with their money.<\/p>\n<h2>Where do I start?<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve made it really easy!
