On My Way Pre-K enrollment STATEWIDE April 1, 2020
On My Way Pre-K has expanded to statewide from 20 counties to 92 counties! This opens the door to eligible 4-year-olds throughout the state. We want to make sure all eligible Allen County families secure an On My Way grant for their 4-year-old. Because On My Way is now statewide with the same total number of enrollment slots and enrollment is first-come/first-serve, we want to encourage families to apply early. Slots are expected to fill quickly. Apply as soon as possible and follow through with the enrollment process in a timely manner.
In addition, this year, a limited number (up to 20% of On My Way families statewide) can qualify under the new “limited eligibility” criteria which increases the income guidelines to at or below 185% federal poverty level (FPL) and also allows for some flexibility for families where a parent receives Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) benefits and is not working, but meets other eligibility criteria. We are hopeful that these adjustments will allow more families to participate in 2020-21.
