September Indiana Employment Report

June Indiana Employment Stats

Indiana’s unemployment rate drops to 3.5 percent for June and remains lower than the national rate of 3.7 percent. Indiana’s total labor force, which includes both Hoosiers employed and those seeking employment, stands at 3.39 million, and the state’s 64.8 percent labor force participation rate remains above the national rate of 62.9 percent. Regular unemployment insurance claims in the reference week (12th of the month) continue to decline in 2019.

April Indiana Employment Report

Indiana’s labor force had a net increase of 1,349 over the previous month. This was a result of an increase of 29 unemployed residents and an increase of 1,320 employed residents. Indiana’s total labor force, which includes both Hoosiers employed and those seeking employment, stands at 3.41 million, and the state’s 65.3 percent labor force participation rate remains above the national rate of 62.8 percent.
