From a TechSoup.org email announcement today. Microsoft software donations have become more flexible. TechSoup.org is the program whereby we get our Microsoft software, such as Windows for a token administrative fee around $8. ONLY available to documented 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.

SBHP training is divided into several tiers, and the trainings in Tier One, which include both online and one daylong classroom sessions, begin in early August 2011.

At this time we are seeking community input in what help would most benefit our National Guard and full time Warriors living in the Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana area.

We would like to identify work we can do that will help our Allen County, Indiana Warriors so far as is appropriate in our mission. We provide computer job skills training and practical business / employment options training (for example, if conventional employment is unavailable, we can try 1099 contractor or Business to Business approaches). We have a particular concern for our National Guard Warriors who receive neither the income protection nor the adjustment counselling that is available to our full time military personal when returning from in-country deployment.
