The power upgrade is complete and we are now cleaning up the lab to re-open this afternoon.

Work to upgrade the computer lab electrical systems is in progress, so the lab will be closed to the public until Monday afternoon. New power circuits and recepticals are being installed to accommodate our new equipment and increased utilization.

As Descartes wrote, it is not only intellect that matters, but how that intellect is used. I have seen this over and over again as Americans written off by everyone else as too old, or too slow, can with our training use a computer at least well enough to search for a job on-line, write a simple letter, make a presentation, read and write their email, and even create a simple budget using a spreadsheet. A healthy and growing mind is important to continued overall health, and the ability to support one’s self with a modicum of dignity in society. Your help is needed. Please give.
