Adult Life Training updated its maintenance computer to match the lab equipment. As a result we have one NICE quad-core AMD 2.5GiHZ machine available on a first come basis. Parts in the machine are about $300 used. Selling price $200. Proceeds go to the Public Charities’ operations (milk, coffee, toner cartridges, etc.) Details below.

Membership kits can also be purchased from Ramsey for this class, if so desired. A family only needs one membership kit for all family members to share together. Membership kits are helpful but completely optional — you may attend class without a kit.

Build Out: Computer Lab

DSCN3516I always share our build out, complete with the details of the buys, when we upgrade our lab computers. This January we received a grant from Three Rivers Federal Credit Union that facilitated replacing our 2003 vintage PCs with modern equipment to position us (hopefully) for the next decade. This build was excellent and has provoked many compliments along with requests for details on how to replicate our build at other agencies and private homes.
