The Problem with Intelligence (IQ) Tests is that at the most optimistic outcome they are only useful predictors of intelligence levels up to a little less than that of those who wrote the test. If merely average people, say with an IQ of around 130*, write the test then those more intelligent, say IQ around 160-180 will appear to be stupid unless they modify their answers to accommodate the lower intellectual capacity and hubris of those who wrote the test.
*Yes, I am well aware that 130 is supposedly genius level. However, most everyone can score around 120, so in my humble opinion 130 is nothing special.
