The Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7/8/8.1 is straight forward. However, it is intended for RETAIL licenses only. This is not immediately clear from the published Microsoft web pages on the upgrade but hints are in there! Volume license holders must get their upgrade from Software Assurance or by purchasing Windows 10 volume licenses.(Screen cuts follow)
