Exempt Organizations Financial Data

The Statistics of Income’s 2015 data on tax-exempt organizations is now available on Tax Stats. These data include financial data and other information from more than 600,000 Forms 990, 990-EZ and 990-PF filed by tax-exempt organizations that were processed by the IRS during calendar year 2015. The data are in ASCII space-delimited format. Supporting documentation is also available. See the IRS web site at https://www.irs.gov/uac/SOI-Tax-Stats-Annual-Extract-of-Tax-Exempt-Organization-Financial-Data

The extracts are in a space-delimited, ASCII format. Once you are one the official government IRS website, you will see their links to the data. This data is NOT a web page, but rather a data file. Right click. Save to disk. Open with your spreadsheet.
