Well, it’s that time of year and we have started our year 2017 fund drive! If you appreciate our work and can afford to give $2, $5 or more, it will make a real difference – when many people help it adds up!
You can help us continue to get people trained in job skills and off welfare by donating through the PayPal button at the top right of our web pages, donating on PayPal.com to our email address donations@alt-fw.org, or by mailing your check to Adult Life Training, Inc., 3301 E Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Of course if you are in the area there is also a donation box on the wall! PayPal keeps 33 cents of the first dollar of your donation but only 3 cents on a dollar after that. We get the entirety of checks and cash donations.
Our present needs include:
- $546 to provide the coffee and other hospitality supplies that we use daily for this year
- $750 to replace our eight year old server computer (which is failing to start half the time now) that we use to teach computer classes
- Funds to buy as needed copier paper and toner cartridges for the printers
- Someone to donate a really good job cleaning our fabric covered chairs and carpet
If you are alert then you noticed there are no wages or payments to people in those needs! That is because we are an all volunteer organization, and all of the funds that we receive go directly to the actual work, not to “administrative costs”! So please take a moment to donate – your dollar or two will help and you’ll likely not miss it much.
