Upcoming Groups

Posted on July 7, 2017July 7, 2017 by John Nash

Fall Groups

Adult Life Training Fall Groups start September 3, 2017 on the Abundant Life Church campus at 3301 E Coliseum Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Call 260.432.0014 x128 if you have questions.

Artemis LAN Party

Artemis LAN Party Gaming group starts on Fridays, about 7:00pm until about 10:30pm. Most ages capable of playing nice in a group are welcome – 11 up to 109. Free. Bring your own joy stick / USB game controllers if you like, especially if you play a fighter on Artemis or X-Wing vs. Tie.

There tends to be coffee, pop, and other snacks available, whatever people bring (no booze please, this is a church campus). Last group season we started with Artemis (at least five people must man each starship to play effectively), and Armageddon Worms, but we also had a blast with Descent (played on Linux!) , Empire Earth (kept crashing – gotta fix that with windows troubleshooting), and we never got to try X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter because we ran out of weekends to meet! There are a bunch more group computer LAN Party games out there which we can add this time.

Financial Peace University

Financial Peace University group will start Monday, September 4, 2017 at 7:00pm until 8:30pm. We demonstrate the means to get and stay free of debt, then invest so you can retire comfortably. Twenty somethings are in the optimal life point to benefit but these are extremely important life skills: if you are older, buried in debt and maybe looking at being homeless you need to be in this class.
